Our volunteers
A tribe of best friends
Most of our local volunteers are very poor and many cannot read or write, but they cook, serve and clean daily. As gratitude, they're gifted a small bag of groceries monthly.
The rest of our volunteers are a robust team of expats who live at least half time in Los Cabos. These volunteers have a lot of fun and have all become a tribe of best friends.
Here's how they contribute
Find your place on the team
- Plan fundraising events
- Source raffle and door prizes
- Sell tickets to events
- Pick up and deliver donations
- Sort and process donations
- Put together despensas
- Answer correspondence
- Plan kitchen visits
- Cut hair or repair equipment in the kitchens
- Source kitchen and dining room equipment
- Keep social media and the website updated
- Provide content for publication
- Group visits and fishing tournaments
- Food, backpack and blanket drives
- Christmas posadas
- Mother's Day and Kids Day gift packages
